Mission

The Lee & Aidan McMahon Foundation was founded by the McMahon brothers, Mike, Joe and Tom, in loving memory of their mother Lee McMahon, who passed away from brain cancer in 1999 and Aidan McMahon, beloved son of Joseph, who passed away in 2002 at 13 months of age from biliary atresia, and complications from liver disease. The McMahon brothers, with the help and support of many family and friends, have held the charity golf outing each year for the past 20 years. The event has grown each year with over 250 guests participating. We also have been very fortunate to have many sports celebrities attend the event year after year to lend their support.

The Foundations’ Mission is to be able to provide support and make a difference to the Charities that have special meaning to our family.Funds raised for the Hospice Care Network will be earmarked for the Children’s Bereavement Program, helping children cope with the passing of a loved one. Funds raised for the American Liver Foundation will go towards helping in the ongoing fight against biliary atresia, and other liver diseases. Our tremendous success to date would not have been possible without the loving support of our family and friends, many whom have supported us every year for 20 years!
